WARNING!! This Is Such A Bad Trading Group! Just Stay Away!!!

First off let me start by saying there are a large number of groups out there for you to go with, and they all seem to share the same rules, usually a ridiculously large amount of them. I didn't start off wanting to create a group but after the very negative experience I encountered at one of the "top" trade groups I could see a niche that needs to be filled.

Let me talk a little bit about my experience so you can see why I decided to open up my own group. Now I have heard many positive and negative comments about Elite Traders Club and thought if I am going to join one that should be it, it has a vast amount of members so I figured I would get some trades and quick. Well.. Quick was definitely the wrong idea.. First my experience started off by having to read the rules and that's no easy task. you might as well ask the new users to memorize Moby Dick! And then I had to add all of the admins, once again, not an easy task (there are like 20 of them!) Then wait for 2 of them to add me before I can post (That was according to the novel I read.. I mean the rules) And even though there were so many admins it still took about 45 minutes to get that accomplished.

So onto my post, I thought I read in the rules that if your post is more than 5 lines to create a trade in your notes and link to it. Boy was I wrong! Because not even 2 minutes later I was banned from the group!! And by an admin who didn't even add my Friend Request no less!! So I come to find out that you can't post any links to the wall of their group (Due to some incorrect info on their creators part who feels all links are posted by hackers and will cause you to lose your account or something??) But the rule I thought I read as post a link to your note was actually telling me to post a link to a note ON MY PAGE and just tell people to go there.. So let me get this straight: We have to make a note visable to everyone with our trade in it, make a post on our own wall thats visible to everyone that has a link to our note, and then make a post on the group wall saying go to my wall to find the link to go to my note to look at my trade? Talk about redundant!!! (And outright ridiculous!!)

So after I find out what I was banned for (without any notice or contact I might add) I have to contact the admin who banned me and see what can be done. Well that's were my story gets worse. After two hours of non-communication I finally get a response with just the rule I violated pasted into reply.. Wow.. I can see where this is going. Even though I already explained everything in my message to him, that was all i got. So I repeated my original message with some new info and he just copy and pasted the rule I thought I knew, but didn't do right.. My bad!! And it just got worse and worse from there on out. To him saying he won't lift my ban for 24hours if at all, so if this is how they treat someone who is trying to write a review for them, I wonder how bad the average person gets it!!?? It can't be good.

So after all that rigmarole I decided something had to be done!! So I launched a new group, one where you can come and trade without the fear of overbearing tyrants reining down upon you with their nonsensical vengeance! Thus: The Mafia Wars Elite Traders Club Was born!! With a short list of rules that are easy to follow and no BS, just a simple trading site for you to get items and grow your mafia!!

The New Zynga Support System Is Up!

Well it's official, the old support pages are down and the new ones are finally up and running. New email contact pages are there and new auto-responses are being sent out Via Sales-force. Anybody that's familiar with sales-force knows that it is a customer support system that integrates very well with All types of communication mediums, VOIP, Email, Live Chat, etc..

I am very familiar with the system as I have worked in a calling center before and was a team leader for Dupont Ink Refill machines at Office Depot/Office Max Nationwide. And also for Pure Digital (The makers of the "Point and Shoot" Cameras/Camcorders that they sold Nationwide at CVS Pharmacies and other outlets). And it is a great system to have for the use of customer support and tracking customer interactions. Chances are that when you call anybody for support, they're using this system! I'm surprised to see that they just started to use it..

But this is a good improvement in my opinion because things should not be going un-noticed anymore. The way the system is setup it is nearly impossible to ignore a communication from a customer, you would literally have to lie to the system and say you handled it. Also, instead of it being an email system, like it was before, where multiple users access an inbox (which leads to these errors). All submissions show up as a list of open tickets, and only one person can edit each ticket at a time. So all in all we should be seeing quicker responses and more accurate ones as well as all information is readily available to all support agents and cases can be linked together so problems can be easily analyzed.

I hope to see some answers now on some issues I have been ignored on because of the switch. So time to re-submit to the new system and we'll see what happens.

New Cutesy Error Codes?

The name of the game is Mafia WARS! Not mafia cute and fresh happy fun time! WTF Zynga!? If you're gonna update the error pages with a nice new enlarged graphic then give us one with some gusto! Not this pile of cuteness that makes you wanna gag! Get with the program! Well maybe this proves their new support system is up finally.. But Yuck! Get it away form me!!

Quickly Add Your Skill Points!

Do you let your skill points pile up and then add them all in one go!? It was a major hassle doing that one at a time! So they made a +5 button which helped a bit! But finally Zynga has updated their skill points system again! Now if you let them build up to over 250 it will let you add 25 at a time! So with just a few clicks you can spend all your skill points and not get carpel tunnel! Thank You Zynga!

Unfortunately when you drop below the 250 mark it reverts back to the +5 at a time. So click it quickly if you wanna take advantage of that button!

I personally think it should stay +25 until you are down to ~50 or so... If you feel the same way let Zynga know about it.. Send them an email and get this updated for the sake of all of us!

Just One Click To Remove Non-Friend Mafia Members!

Well it's about time Zynga got on board with this one! It's been an option in add-ons and with scripts for some time now, but finally there is a link In mafia wars to do the job for us. With just one click!


Go to your "My Mafia" Tab and next to where it says how many requests you have sent you will see a nice little link that says "Remove Non-Friends From My Mafia", You will then get a question box to verify. YES I WANT TO!! And then a confirmation with how many were removed! Finally they understand that we don't need useless mafia who we cant interact with! Maybe the PAC was a good thing after all, let's see what else happens..

Please Stop Perpetuating These Scams!!

Seriously People! Don't fall into these traps! If you see any of these BS events Don't Pay any attention to them! Don't accept the invite what so ever! Don't Hit Attend! Don't Hit No! Don't Hit Maybe! Don't Do Anything! The whole purpose of these lists is to get people into an event so the creator can spam you with more BS!!

What!? Are you kidding me!? You have a mission where the first requirement is to collect 10 satellite phones from your friends and you put a limit on how many you can receive in a day!? Talk about a major blunder!
